The hotel is a small, British-Dutch family-owned and operated hotel in one of the most beautiful parts of the Nature Park Bavarian Forest. Unspoilt forests, crystal-clear streams and fresh air still worth breathing - landscapes like the Lamer Winkel are rare. Whilst on holiday in this area, former German President Horst Köhler called Lam one of the most beautiful areas in Germany. This fascinating landscape can be enjoyed from our roofed terrace with a wonderful view. The homely hotel with 15 rooms is located in a very quiet south-facing location in the Lam-Frahels hamlet. Several signposted walking routes pass by the hotel. Built in keeping with local style, Haus am Berg is nevertheless a hotel that offers modern amenities such as wireless Internet and satellite TV. Service is written with a capital S in this hotel. The owners believe that hospitality should come straight from the heart and should not be an insincere performance. they are proud of, and grateful for, the many awards and the many outstanding reviews from satisfied guests. In the cosy 28-seat restaurant international cuisine is served - open daily except Tuesday.
