Maison Melrose

Our cottage is located in the town of Vouvray in the French Touraine region. It is surrounded by spectacular Middle-Age and Renaissance castles and world-renowned wineries. The cottage is of rare and spectacular troglodyte style with a third of the house dug into the Vouvray hillside overlooking the Cher and Loire river valleys. All rooms have windows opening to the garden, the walls are hand-carved in the white tuffeau rock — giving the house a wonderfully warm and relaxing atmosphere. Maison Melrose offers 3 double bedrooms for 2, 4 or 6 persons and may be rented year round. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required. Our castle and wine region is Unesco World Heritage site.
